The Ottawa TFC Capital Cup, one of Ontario's largest soccer events, brings together over 180 teams from across the province and from Quebec and Canada at large. It offers a top-level tournament experience and a fun-filled festival for players of all ages and skill levels. Hosted at one of Ottawa's premier soccer facilities, this is your opportunity to compete against top talent, build club spirit, and showcase your team on a big stage.

With over 30 years of history, the Capital Cup is one of Ontario’s largest soccer events, bringing together more than 200 teams from across the province, Quebec, and throughout Canada.

The Capital Cup offers a high quality tournament experience and a fun-filled festival for players of all ages and skill levels. Hosted at one of Ottawa’s premier soccer facilities, teams have the opportunity to compete against a large pool of district and regional-level teams, build club spirit, and showcase their team in a welcoming and exciting atmosphere.

Tournament Details

Categories: Boys and Girls, U14-U17 (2009-2012)

Format: 11v11

Divisions

IModel Divison: U14-U17

Invite only - Teams can apply but placement is not guaranteed.

  • Fee: $650.00 per team
  • Ontario levels: EOS District Regional or Ontario Soccer IModel
  • Québec level: LDIR or LDP

Format:

  • 3x 60-minute group games + playoffs
  • All finals played on turf

Challenge Division: U14-U17

  • Fee: $595.00 per team
  • Ontario levels: EOS District Competitive or equivalent
  • Québec level: LDIR

Format:

  • 3x 60-minute group games guaranteed + playoff

U10-U11 Festival - 2015-2016 Girls & Boys

Dates: June 13-14

Format: 7v7

Matches: 3 35-minute matches guaranteed

Cost: $350 per team

U12-U13 Tournament - 2013-2014 Girls & Boys

Dates: June 13-14

Format:  9v9

Matches: 3 35-minute matches guaranteed + a final for qualifying teams

Devisions:

  • Prem: (EOS District Premier or equivalent)
  • Tier 1: (EOS District T1 or equivalent)
  • Tier 2: (EOS District T2/T3 or equivalent)

Cost: $375 per team

ABOUT THE CAPITAL CUP

The Capital Cup underwent an exciting rebrand in 2024, but its legacy as one of Ottawa’s premier tournaments spans more than 30 years. Formerly known as the Snakebite Tournament, the event has built a long-standing reputation for delivering a well-organized and accommodating experience for teams of all levels.

Hosted by Atlético Ottawa Juniors, formerly Ottawa TFC, one of the largest and most respected soccer clubs in the city and a nationally licensed organization, the Capital Cup is rooted in a strong tradition of excellence.

Designed to bring teams together from all skill levels, the event combines high-level competition with a vibrant festival atmosphere, all hosted at one of Ottawa’s top soccer facilities.
